This handsome 1½-year-old German Shepherd weighs 72 pounds and has all the qualities people love about the breed—he’s incredibly smart, eager to learn, and so incredibly gentle.

The shelter has been so hard on Kaiser. It’s loud, unfamiliar, and stressful, but even with everything going on around him, he remains kind and gentle with the people caring for him.

Kaiser keeps his kennel nice and clean, showing he has wonderful habits that could make the transition into a home even smoother. He is also up to date on his immunizations and walks well on a leash.

Kaiser is counting the days until he can leave the kennel (and all the stress) behind and finally relax in a home of his own.
